Welcome
Thank you for stopping by my blog. One of the biggest joys of my recent run for United States Congress was writing opinion pieces for newspaper publication. I enjoyed the act of writing, and rewriting, just as much as the contemplation. So I am looking forward to continuing that work here. While most of my reflections will be about our country, leadership, politics, and policy, I also hope to sprinkle in some random musings on life as well. I hope you find the pieces interesting, thought-provoking, and worthy of your time.

About Me
I was born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire. The Granite State, with its "Live Free or Die" attitude, has formed who and what I am. I believe that with the blessing of freedom comes the responsibility to be a good neighbor.

I belong to a large and loving family. I am a proud son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and godfather. My family is my strength and I learn from them every day.

I love politics or, more accurately I suppose, public policy. That love began as a young boy taping Ronald Reagan speeches and continued into my work in the 1990’s volunteering on mayoral, state senate, and US Congressional campaigns. I was also honored to be a NH staff member on Senator Bob Dole’s 1996 presidential campaign.

I earned a BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Canisius College. I have traveled extensively across this incredible nation of ours, working and living in Washington, DC; Buffalo, NY; Naples, FL; and now home again in Manchester, NH.

I enjoyed a successful 25-year business career with both privately and publicly held companies. Many of those years were spent as a Chief Financial Officer. Through my employment, consulting, due diligence work, and board service, I have gained a wealth of experience across dozens of industries including manufacturing, transportation, real estate development, club management, and professional sports.
In 2024, I ran for United States Congress from the first district of New Hampshire. Though the outcome wasn't what I had hoped, the experience was positive and life-changing. I ran because I believe that the American spirit is as strong as ever and that, at our core, we are united, despite the noise on the extremes. I believe in small government and giant acts of citizenship. I believe government exists to keep us safe in our persons and property and that most other things are best left for kitchen tables, houses of worship, and doctor’s offices.

I am passionate about reading, particularly biographies and American history. I love playing golf, though I wish I was better at it. I will go to almost any concert, regardless of genre. And I am addicted to race driving - attending race schools and tracking cars as often as I can.
